niversity of Mysore is responsible for conducting the KSET entrance test for the academic year 2013-2014, in the State of Karnataka to appoint the eligible candidates as Lecturer. The new appointees are to be placed in the Colleges and Universities, as lecturer in the Karnataka State only. This year, the entrance exam is going to be held on 8th of December, 2013.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Eligible candidates can submit their application form from 10-07-2013 to 10-08-2013. If any candidate is failed to submit their application form within these dates, one more chance is provided to these candidates with a late fee of Rs. 100 only. The dates to submit the application fee with late fee is from 12-08-2013 to 17-08-2013. Candidates can download the application forms and other forms till 30-08-2013. All the applications along with the attendance slip must be reached to the center, which has been chosen by the candidate in examination form on or before 31-08-2013. Entrance exam is set to be conducted on 08-12-2013.
EXAMINATION FEE
• For the General Category candidates, examination fee will be Rs. 1000 only.
• The candidates of Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, will have to pay a sum of Rs. 800 only as their examination fee.
• Candidates of Cat-I, SC, ST, VH, PH casts, have to submit Rs. 500 only as their application fee.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
To apply for this entrance test, one must have obtained at least 55% marks in the master’s degree or equivalent from UGC recognized University. While the candidates of SC/ST/CH/PH must have obtained 50% marks in the relevant degree course to apply for the test.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. First of all, candidates have to visit the official website of KSET here http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in and download the challan form.
2. Then candidates have to submit their application fee as applicable with the bank charges of Rs. 20 only.
3. Candidates must have scanned copy of their pass-port size photo with them less than 300 kb and challan form before submitting the application form.
4. Candidates has to log in on the website in order to get registered.
5. After registration, candidates will have to log in with the email and password by which he registered himself on the website.
6. After submitting the application form, candidates have to check their status after two days of depositing the fee and note down the Journal number on the challan form.
7. If you found your status OK, then you can download your application form.
8. Then you should send your all the required documents by putting it in an envelope to the center at which the choice is made by the candidate.
